The Public Bank Group is committed to high standards of security and confidentiality. To this end, we have put in place an industrial strength security framework to ensure that you can use our Internet Banking Service with full confidence.

All your information transmitted over the Internet is encrypted using the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) from MSC TrustGate Certificate Authority to ensure confidentiality and data integrity. This strong encryption prevents eavesdropping and unauthorised alterations to the information that you transmit.

To access our Internet Banking Service, you will be required to use a user ID and password which will only be known to you. As long as you keep this password secret, you can be assured that the systems and procedures are in place to protect your information. To prevent password guessing, there is a fixed number of retries allowed. Inactive sessions are also timed out to prevent unauthorised use in case you accidentally leave the session logged on after you have finished your transactions.
